From time immemorial, the Séliš, Ql̓ispé, and related tribes and bands have lived sustainably, in a relationship of respect with the plants and animals, the lands and waters, across our vast territories on both sides of the Continental Divide in what is now the state of Montana and adjacent states and provinces. Today our communities are based on the Flathead Indian Reservation, working to carry forward our language and cultural ways for the generations yet to come.
