Flanking Lamáta (Canyon of White Bird)

Cultural Narrative: 

Canyon flanking south extremity of Lamáta (White Bird Battlefield). Butte on the skyline is the one that ’álok’at (Chief Alokat) was seen to ride from behind by hímiin maqsmáqs (Yellow Wolf), and gallop slowly to the right. The bugler was killed at the base of dark line of rocks showing brink of the gorge. Scout Chapman was seen first and last by hímiin maqsmáqs (Yellow Wolf), on the upper small flat at foot of the rock-crow-medium ridge extending to the right. (north)
