Friend of missionary. - Joe Lamoose, an 83-year-old Indian of the Flathead tribe, employed all his faculties of speech yesterday at Gonzaga university, where he greeted Father Cataldo for the first time in several years. Lamoose was brought here to celebrate Father Cataldo's diamond jubilee. He came with full Indian regalia, and despite his age, will do an Indian war dance with just a little encouragement. Lamoose's father was the brother of Ignace, who converted the Flathead Indians about 1815.
