McWhorter in modern attire. piyopyóot’alikt (Peo-Peo Tholekt or Bird Alighting) was a young Nez Perce warrior in the War of 1877. He distinguished himself during the takeover of the Mountain Howitzer and the c'aynim 'alikinwaaspa (Battle of Snake Creek).
